2K's Video Timing Deliberate?

I think everyone can agree that 2K's timing of their next gen trailer was questionable at best, it was merely hours before NBA 2K14 current gen was released.

I'm starting to wonder if 2K used this day to take a shot at EA for their subpar effort on Madden. Its not entirely unrealistic to assume that they had some idea what Madden was looking like on next gen (they do get to work with tech demos and the such as developers).

For example, Ryse is available for all to demo on Xbox One's dev kits (thanks to a video leak of the dash).

Even if 2K didn't have any inclination to what Madden 25 Next Gen looked like, they could safely assume it looked inferior to NBA 2K14.

I'm not sure. Still waiting for so,e next gen madden vids tonight. We were supposed to get some info and a video today. But so far nothing, just some stupid current gen sim.

NBA 2k14 looks like a next gen sports game and Madden just looks like a current gen game.
