What you consider when picking a team for a ccm

Title says it all, I just like hearing everyone's input. I'm torn between 2 separate worlds. I don't know if I want to use Houston or Jacksonville. Houston obviously is win now and the jags are a true rebuild. Honorable mention to the Richardson-less browns

I chose the Saints. They are a win-now type team, and you can slowly bring in your people to take over. I also found it easy to make the switch over to am org run balanced offense as Brees retired after the first season. Lot of cap room as well.

I like a team that can run the ball and stop the run. Everything else falls into place personnel wise. Prefer a team thats younger too so there are more players locked up on cheap contracts.

It variates.. In my online franchise users are allowed to keep the same team for the next iteration of the game, so it limits the available teams.. But I don't like playing the same team twice in a row (feels like starting over with minor changes). In M11 I was win-now saints, then in M12 I was rebuild with titans, in M13 it was somewhat rebuild with chiefs (stanzi as qb), and now for M25 I am using win now seahawks. Usually most importantly the team must work in regards to my play style, or at least be able to rebuild into my playstyle in about max 2 seasons. I also look a lot at the age of the players, too many at about 28 or over and that is a problem. Before choosing I like to color code players in a spreadsheet of who doesn't fit my playstyle/are too old, and which players can be traded. Then there is the challenge, obviously if you want a tougher experience, you go with the rebuild

For my dynasty franchise here on OS, I chose the Raiders. Good history behind the team, and nothing going for them currently. This allows me to really rebuild the team my way and put my stamp on it.

I chose the Dolphins for my main CFM. I did one with the Seahawks for 2 seasons but it was too easy IMO.

They only have 3 young stars in Dion Jordan, Mike Wallace, and Mike Pouncey. Mostly everybody else is serviceable, but aging. It's fun to find young replacements for lots of guys through the draft and in FA. They also have an old stadium so I was able to build a new deluxe futuristic one.

Having sweet unis with a cool logo helps too!
