I would say it's a very comparable difference.

How about a better picture?

We know it's going to play the same, feel the same, and probably move the same as current gen, but graphically speaking, it is an upgrade and that can't be denied.

That's all we're talking about here, because on the gameplay front, i'm convinced it's just a port with this Ignite engine they keep touting.
Yes, we are comparing graphics but I'm saying there are two camps here and we do not see eye to eye because there is a discrepancy between Madden's images and it's footage. There is not discrepancy between NBA 2k and it's footage. I would in no way deny that the images of Madden NG look good. What I'm arguing is those images do not look like the footage. And that's why Madden NG is a contradiction and that's why people don't see eye to eye.

That's a terrible example...

Okay, I can see exactly where you're coming from, and for the most part I can agree with you.

It is a port with the Ignite engine, so is FIFA 14, it's the same game on both current and next gen, but next gen has the True Step player movement, better o/d line interactions and logic, living worlds. Other than that, they are identical. That's why I'm saying Madden 15 will be the real test of where Madden is heading. Madden 25 next gen is a little more than a tech upgrade, it should not be full price, and I think that is why they are doing the trade-in on next gen titles. I expect the same thing with Battlefield 4, NBA 2k14, Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag.

The jump from CG to NG for 2K is out of this world and really can't be compared at this point, until something better comes along.
