Trade Logic Broken?

Alright so I'm the Cardinals. I did everything in my power to acquire Marshall Yanda (RG - 99 overall), Brian Orakpo (ROLB - 97 overall), and I already have Patrick Peterson (CB - 97 overall). These are all GREEN on the Panthers interest level and all are of the age of 28 or younger, so age isn't a big factor. I offered all three players for Cam Newton and the Panthers said no. This is unbelievable. If I was able to throw in two more first rounders I would, but it only allows me to offer up to three things. This seems broken to me. I offered three Pro-Bowl players that are elite at their position for Cam.

maybe they didn't wanna trade him I tried trading for a qb as well once I offered them a 90 something rated player and 2 #1 picks for the qb the trade got turned away because they didn't wanna get rid of the qb.

Re: Trade Logic Broken?

I am going to say no the games trade logic in this case is not broken. How many teams in the NFL do you see trading a player labeled as a "Franchise QB" to another team for anyone no matter the offer. Your asking a team to give you their starting QB who was an overall number one pick, that threw for 4,000 something yards, you'd have better luck getting a second string QB or pulling a FA then getting that trade. Honestly you should look for more realistic trades rather then complain about trades that would never happen in real life. The Trade block usually has some decent players on it, even if they don't always make sense for the team to get rid of certain players like Denver having Trenton Holliday on the Trade Block.

Based off of reading just this and not the rest of the post, yes, the trade logic is broken.

I'm not sure the Panthers would consider that in real life. I definitely do not believe they accept a trade like that - I doubt they could acquire a then needed franchise qb that cheaply to replace Cam.

Re: Trade Logic Broken?

Promise to take Ron Rivera off the Panthers hands and they'll probably do the trade

Re: Trade Logic Broken?

I don't know what Cam Newton yall are describing. But the 2013 Cam would be a Cardinal if that trade was offered this year. Cam has been too inconsistent. Cam might be lucky to be on the team in 2014 let alone 2015.

The Panthers would take their chances in the draft considering they are already gonna have a high pick. With the arm talent coming out this year he would be a goner.

We're talking one of the most versatile & talented players in the league. A good rush specialist. Injuries withstanding. And a great guard. All are upgrades on the Panthers.
