Player Overalls dropping in pre season

Between week 2 and 4 of preseason the overall on every LE and DT on my team dropped 8-10 points, 2-3 points per week. Now all my DL are between a 66-74, Is this a bug or is this supposed to happen? I could understand a few guys dropping but all 3 of of my LEs and all 4 of my DTs seems like overkill.

I just noticed something along the same lines. My QB (a young guy-there should be no age related attribute drops) finished the season an 82 OVR, and now at the start if pre season year 2, he shows as a 78. Oddly, I had some other players that gained at the end if last season as well, but their OVR did not drop in pre season.

Hopefully it's just another minor glitch that will iron itself out before the regular season begins. It does muddy the waters with respect to making pre season cuts though, unless you can remember what everyone's true OVR should be reporting.

Could this have something to do with the "Change Predictability" trait?

Dropping a few points I could understand, but 8-10 points is a freefall.
