Need Mechanical Help

Hey--
My PS2 will no longer read my MADDEN04 game, and seems to take a bit longer than usual reading some of my other games. Some of you guys have mentioned putting WD40 on the lens-arm....i would like to try this, but dont want to f*^k my machine up. I was wondering if there was any advice regarding this procedure.

All of this may be the result of my using a disc cleaner on my game disc. . . although it did not falter the first time or two i used it afterwards.

I just read a pretty decent description on how to adjust your lens. It was in the current issue of Gamepro Magazine, I believe it has NFL Street on the cover. You will find it in the Buyer Beware section. I plan on trying it soon. Good luck.
