Why does Sen Derick Marks player model look like that. Look, this is next gen I expect player model authenticity.

That aside, I like what I see over the Madden I'm playing right now. Although I don't think the jump will be considerable, I need something better than the game I'm playing right now.

I 100% believe the next-gen version will be better. To me that isn't the question. The question is how much better? From the looks of it, not much.

Better than ripping features out of the start of this generation?

Well I would have taken a feature short Madden if it meant being built from the ground up with a whole new animation system and all new A.I. system. That way they have a brand new foundation laid out so we can start building a sweet new mansion. Instead, EA decided to try to fix up a broken down home with recycled parts.

And the Ignite Engine, a new engine that is being used across all EA Sports game, is now a recycled part?

If that is Marks in that video then we've got bigger problems. Marks went to Jacksonville in the off season. Sammie Hill is wearing #94 for the Titans now.

But you're not wrong about the models. The Titans were one of my ccm teams in Madden 13 and those are the exact player models -- especially in those cut scenes -- from two years ago. Kenny Britt's looks exactly the same... I mean EXACTLY the same.

EA ported over the animations from this generation we are passing. So even if they did build an entirely new engine it doesn't matter if they used the same old animations. You can't tell me you watch the videos and not see the same old animations we have been seeing forever now lol. Like I said they need to build an entirely new animation system. Why build a new engine if you are just going to recycle all the parts?

The game appears in videos to play exactly like current gen. If the new engine is just an evolution of the previous engine then that's a problem.
