Too Easy to Run with a QB?

So in my online league that I commish, everyone is very satisfied with the sliders, except for one area. All the teams with mobile QBs find it way too easy to pickup insane rushing yardage with them.

What are the best sliders to mess with to help the CPU shut down scramblers?

I think some better defensive play calling would work better then any slider. Use some QB spy and zones. If you need anything with the sliders just crank up the tackling so QBs don't break so many tackles.

*I* don't need help shutting down opposing QB's, the CPU does. The players in my league with mobile QBs say they can burn the CPU constantly with their scrambling.

You can't make the CPU defend this better without killing the run game as a whole. It's not a slider problem, imo. IMHO, the problems are that:

*You can't make the defense use a spy.
*You can't make the CPU play the QB in the read option.
*You can't make the CPU raise it's players PRC, PUR, or TKL

Instead, I would institute limits on

QB carries in a game
QB rush yards in a game
QB rush TD's for a season

Limit on QB scrambles a game, or only when playing CPU would be your best bet im thinking.

Is everyone dissatisfied with how easy it is to pick up rushing yards with QB's out of passing plays?, or is it that the zone read/QB design runs are too easy to run?

Re: Too Easy to Run with a QB?

My guess is that it's too easy to run out of passing situations.

Re: Too Easy to Run with a QB?

Seems like a simply solution

If players feel like its too easy to scramble against the CPU then don't scramble against the CPU, or at least don't do it regularly
