Does this happen for everyone? Aldon Smith released by 49ers along with 4th string scrubs during preseason. Bills pick him up.

They once cut Micheal Crabtree and Patrick Willis for me. I just control the 49ers AI during the Preseason, since it seems they like to get a bit release happy.

Wouldn't be a stretch in real life for the 49ers to release him due to his off the field issues.

Further, the 49ers have some big deals coming down the pipe, most notable will be the massive contract Kaepernick is going to want to have. Can't keep everyone in a salary cap world.

I don't get why people make a big deal out of this stuff, then again, people make a big deal about arm sleeves being franchise killers so I guess it is what it is around here.

Eliminating Cuts in year one would help this. EA releases weekly roster updates for the current season but yet they have cuts in year one. Every time EA releases the current roster, you still have to cut players. Need to eliminate pre-season cuts in year one and start it in year two.
