Madden question help please

Do you guys know how to move a player and then make him stay there? Like if I wanna move a LB closer to the Dline and switch to safety he moves back to original spot, is there a way to keep him there?

Manually audible him to a yellow hook zone, QB spy, or blitz. Even if he already doing one of these 3 go ahead and reassign him via the audible menu. I know this works with safeties anyways as I often drop mine down for run support by putting them in yellow hook zones and moving them to about 8-10 yards off the LOS.
