Why is the soundtrack so bad

I know there are some gameplay issues, but what if next time we didn't get the black eyed peas songs from like 2008 and the such. I mean seriously ea, is it that hard to put together a 40 song soundtrack with modern songs?

Honestly, the first thing I do when I load up any new sports game from EA, is go to options and turn the music/soundtrack (or whatever it is called in that game) down to zero.

The Stadium music your hearing.....is exactly what the NFL wants you to hear. These songs are being blasted in almost every single NFL stadium around the league.

It's awful.

As far as an official soundtrack.....Madden does not have one. They use their own original themes since 13. While both themes are good and sound similar to what you would hear on say some NFL films specials.....it does not come close to what we had on Madden 10 and11 when we had all the NFL Films music to enjoy.

I really really miss that. I wish EA would here us in that regard and pony up the change to get those sounds and songs back in the game.

I also want a real soundtrack back as well.

Buying the rights to put songs on over a million discs is expensive. When Madden started to decline in sales, that was the first thing to be cut from the budget. I doubt we will see it come back unless some artist or band comes to EA with a great offer to put their whole album or catalog for a cheap price.

tbh, I hardly notice the Soundtrack besides all the instrumentals that play when games are being introduced. I guess if you get so locked into the game, you don't notice it. You could either turn off the soundtrack or try to ignore it by focusing in on the game and your strategy.

i agree first thing I do is turn the music off the soundtracks to madden have been jokes for yrs.


when im playing a game I wanna be in the zone I don't wanna hear nothing to distract me that's another reason why I don't play ppl with mics neither for one they either talking smack or have music blasting.
