when i draft a CB, i edit him into a FS and then back to a CB. in most instances, he becomes a prototye CB. in some instance, he'll be a balanced CB. with those players, do it again the following year and he normally becomes a prototype CB.

my scheme is set up for prototype CBs. if a CB type matches your scheme, he'll earn more XP, plus his overall will be higher which helps when i sim games.

I knew your scheme can affect a player's OVR rating, but it actually affects XP as well? I never knew it had any affect on that.

your young players will develop & gain more XP the better suited they are for your scheme. i.e. if you draft a speed WR & want him to get better, set your WR style to speed.

all of my O players are WCO, then depending on the player style, i edit my scheme again. my skill positions are all set to balanced, as this seems to help more players across the board. my QB is WCO. my interior OL are big maulers or run stoppers while my tackles are pass protectors.
