Why is when I started my franchise with the Viking before I started offline franchise josh freeman is rated 76 but when I start he is rated 86 but when I play a preseason game on depth chart it shows him as rate 76. Is this a flitch same thing with kindle I move him to de before I start he is 78 but when I start he is 65 but in preseason game again 78. I'm clueless

Its your scheme and player type. Depth chart in franchise shows you a rating that is how he fits into your scheme and the player type you have at that position. In game and main menu shows his overall based on just his stats.

Thanks great help. So if I'm using a custom playbook that's why all my players defense player stats suck?

No its not anything to do with your playbook. Its under team management. One of the options is you can go and do offense(spread,balanced,etc) defense(3-4,3-4attacking, 4-3, etc) then each position for player type.

If you really wanted to you could put your team scheme as say 3-4 and run a 4-3 playbook. Not really sure why you would want to but you could

Got it! Makes since so I will just have to hit every position up to be played as I want example is the QB was big arm that's why josh got a 86 rating
