Offline Franchise - Ratings Different in Game?

Started an offline franchise with the Jags. On the main franchise screen it says Luke Joekel is rated a 90, MJD a 94, etc. Then when I start a game and go to depth chart, the ratings are differnet - Joeckel is an 83, MJD an 91, some players better here and there. What's going on?? Sione Pouha goes from like a 60 to an 85 once I'm in the game.

I noticed the exact same thing. I made some big roster updates myself, updating depth charts, etc and went to start a 32-team control franchise to test out the rosters... And almost all my changes had come undone. The ratings are different for almost every player and the depth charts reset. Pretty much deterred me from actually starting that franchise.

For me it's weirder though, these are ratings I'm seeing in the franchise screen - not the main menu. I started my franchise, my players had certain ratings. Then when I go to play a game and check ratings during the game, they're compltely different.

On the main screen. The rosters are rated as they fit with the scheme of your favorite team. (I set mine to Steelers). So when I go to the roster page all 4-3 players are rated lower. 3-4 players are rated higher. Sione pouha is a perfect example of this. So essentially there is no one rating. The ratings will fluctuate based on scheme.

interesting...but i dont understand why the "real" ratings arent in the main screen and the altered ratings in the in-game screen. makes 0 sense why its backwards...
