Anyone Picking Up Madden 15 For The PS3?

I'll be renting Madden NFL 15 as well. As for ggsimmond's quote on getting an new hardware (PS4 or Xbox 1), not right now! I mean, what's the rush on getting an next gen console? I can wait little bit longer. As for Madden NFL 15, I just hope its decent & play with some people here (operation sports website).

I will be sticking with Madden 12, even though I have 13, 25 they imo have not done enough to convince me to spend another $60.
I stick to 12 because I am a stat person and I like the dynamic player feature along with a good slider set mainly penalties and injuries also they track assistant tackles. I did not like that my players tackles were way lower than the cpu's stats.
They also removed auto pass from 15 so coach mode is not an option and with the cpu qb so perfect and the game stats often shows the cpu qb at 100%.
I have to hear something good to get me to get 15.

Hope to get it on 360. I just hope they show some actual footage/previews of the ps3/360 versions prior to release date and don't just drop screen text during a release day madden 15 commercial using x1/ps4 footage that the game is now available on our lowly systems...I'd like to see what I got coming ahead of release day..

I don't see why you won't get a good idea of what the game will have to offer from the demo (spare the players disappearing like with last year on the PS3).

probably not. 15 will probably just be a roster update with minimal tweaks.
the transition from the ps2 to the ps3 saw minimal change in those maddens. they were just roster updates.
I d expect the same thing now, especially because they are 2 years in on madden with the new consoles.

I have yet to upgrade to PS4 and I doubt Madden 15 will be the "trigger"...

IF the PS4 version somehow turns out to be decidedly superior / groundbreaking / gamechanging, then I'll consider it...

Still, those "results" prob won't be quantifiable to any degree until the second patch drops, and by that time 3/4 of the season will be over...

I STILL play this game more than any other, but my experience with the series has made me quite skeptical of it's desire / ability to truly progress...

I put off PS3 until Madden 10, which gave them a 3-4 year "head start"...which they mos def needed!

This is exactly how I feel. I also feel like the leap from Ps3 to Ps4 is not as impressive as the leap from Ps2 to Ps3. So it really is hard for me to get motivated about Gen 4 right now.

So I will pick it up on Ps3 knowing it will probably just be a roster update with minimal tweaks. I played Madden 07-25 (8 games over 8 years), thus I am pretty burnt out on Gen 3 Madden. BUT - I don't want to be burnt out on Gen 4 Madden five years down the road so I'm gonna wait an extra year before getting Madden on PS4.
