Ever play far enough into a Dynasty where the retired players became part of the Coaches pool?

I remember that we an advertised thing...but I never played far enough to see it!

Anyone?

Yeah, by year 3 or 4, u see guyz like Brett Farve, Jerry Rice and Junior Seau in the coaches pool. Pretty cool feature imo.

It is in my opinion one of the coolest features because constantly want to keep playing just to see this.

However, my only gripe about it is that certain retired players start out as head coaches. You rarely see an assistant coach that had had amazing coaching records (i.e. defensive coordinators that are ranked #1 consistently hardly move up to head coaching). The coaching progression sucks in this game but it is EA's first year to implement this into Madden, so I gave them a little le-way (sp?).

I'm hoping next year that EA fixes the coach progression and assistants actually move up to head coaching more often than rookie coaches being granted automatic head coaching jobs.

Yeah... I actually hired Bill Romanowski as my Defensive Coordinator. He did pretty good too.

I beleive their rating was based off of AWR rating.

I forget now, so don't quote me.
