I am still enjoying this game. Finally started a franchise, got the new rosters, set it up and played my first game with the Browns (I wanted a change). Lost 31-9 to the Steelers and the game froze when leaving. So disappointing. I had read about guys having freeze issues but I'd only seen the skips and soft 5 second freezes between plays. If the game freezes after my franchise games this will get too frustrating for me. I do not want to sim games nor do I want to replay them.

Also, Madden's auto save on franchise automatically creates new saves files still. That just creates clutter but with the freezing issues maybe this is a good thing.

When do they plan on fixing the stripe on the Pats home jersey? It's red not white EA.

That's kind of how the receivers work in this madden but I've noticed the better the receiving core, the better the quarterback will be, regaurdless of rating. Joe Flacco had turned into a nightmare to defend because of the smiths and jones. Brady has never posed a threat and I believe that's because of the rating of the receiving core.

I would toy with your pass blocking settings and run blocking. The AI QB will be what it is, but you can help with the accuracy by turning down WR catching as you'll see more dropped balls. Computer won't put up as many points though.

Are you using any sliders that have been recommended in other threads? I use sliders on all madden that pretty much has the majority of stuff turned down to 0-20 so stats padding pretty much doesn't happen which makes it a bit more realistic.

I just started a franchise and after setting up my sliders, options, etc. went to save the game and FREEZE. Reset everything and played my first preseason game (which I enjoyed) and FREEZE.

I have never had freezing issues with any game over the years, I never mess with rosters and my PS3 is rarely online.

So what's the procedure, should I delete and reinstall everything? Was there a patch that I should have gotten?

I dont have m15 but the same story was with m25 first months when it came out , i didnt ran into this but a lot of people had these random freezes that were eventually fixed with patches . The only thing i remember about trying to fix this yourself is deleting every save of madden 15 (including game update/s) , if you dont wanna lose them (other saves like rosters or your profile) keep a back up on your usb or something . It fixed this issue on m25 for few people .

Hey after fishing around a bit I found this, although I won't have a chance to try it until tonight. For PS3 only if you delete the Madden 15 file that's in the Game Data Utility folder you should be good to go.

This workaround has only been proven to work for one game at a time.

I will give that a shot for fixing the freeze. I did finish a game this morning.

My first game froze and I had saved 3 highlights. I wonder if saving highlights can cause problems? There was one game in the past that had that issue. For those that did have freezes did you create any? I did not in my second game and was OK.

Let's see. So far I'm generally pleased with Madden 15, though there were some features I really wish would've been in this iteration. For example, I really would like to be able to set formation subs outside of a game the same way you can do in NCAA 14. I also wish you could sub in the entire second team.

I'm glad for the Game Prep feature because we can finally get experience for young guys that aren't ready to start yet.

As for gameplay, using my own tweaked version of Armor & Swords sliders, I'm still finding that scoring is too easy and defense is too hard. I'd expected, playing 10 games now as the Browns, that the defense would be the strength and not the offense, yet my defense is 28th ranked and offense 1st. Getting this right would really make the game feel more authentic to me.
