Will the Madden Franchise ever be #2 again?

The fact is that Madden sales have been pretty good despite some less than quality products that have been churned out. Gameday was clearly superior to them from '96-'97, yet I'm pretty sure Madden sales were higher.1996 was the first Madden for the PSX and it was horrendous.

vc/sega got a little recognition this year and that's all that's needed..if they improve more n don't remove for this year another chip in the madden bloack will be sketched off..while ea/madden n maddenities hardly notice they two little chips that are fallen off-----vc/sega/espn n fans take notice...................'

ea n maddenities will notice when they chips add up to a chunk..oh boys i'll tel you'll never say never...............espn only started losing because of the late system jump because when they was on one system they games were climbing up the charts..madden go the head start since 2000..

Madden 2003-2004 sold 10 million copies on many different platforms....why change

nfl2k3-2k4 sold 500,000 copies of course their going to make changes

Catching up how? I hope your not talking about sales. I as well as many others believe that the 2k series has had better and more realistic gameplay sense 2k1. ESPN is trying to push for a more realistic type of game while EA is trying to bring in as many people as possible by giving more of a big play feel to their product but still keeping it real. BOTH are great at what they do IMO.
