Did recent patch change gameplay?

Havent played my franchise for awhile. After downloading the recent update I played the Redskins. While running was ok before (4.0 to 5.0 average), neither team could run..period..other than Cousins for some reason.
Think the average was under 2 for both teams.

On the other hand I couldnt stop Cousins at all in the passing game..believe his completion rate was 90% for over 400 yards. Basically unstoppable. Only time he missed was in the redzone.

Started another game and noticing the same thing. QB completion slider is like 6 and running block is at 70..

Just wonderin..thanks.

I'm wondering this too...anyone know?

I've got my sliders just about where I want them, but I need to know if I want the update or not

Thats why I was asking. I had mine just about right and now it seems totally off.
Also,,I still cannot get any penalties..I might average 1 per game, both teams combined.

Re: Did recent patch change gameplay?

I feel it changed gameplay. QB's have been toned down accuracy wise, but they seem to take more sacks which isnt good. Going to need to mess with sliders to try and fix this.

I seem to be seeing even less penatlies which isnt good, but I havent played much since the patch so probabaly need to play more to see.

Personally I feel Defense is tightened up on the passing game, cause I dont see nearly as many wide open receievers in the 2 full games I played. Part of the reason I think the AI is getting sacked to much is the DB's are covering tighter.

After my 1st franchise game the game froze so be ware. Hvaent played since, cause that pissed me off so much that it froze. Seems only EA has freeze issues.

Re: Did recent patch change gameplay?

Post patch playing on all madden is much better now. Robo qb is a lot less prevalent in the games I've played. A lot more missed passes and sacks are hit or miss. Some games I'll get a bunch and then some I'll only get one. All Madden seems to be the best way to play the game this year in my opinion and in post patch the qbs aren't nearly as super human.

I've noticed better ability to run against the CPU.
