Pay to Play...is it Possible

I dont think this will happen anytime soon, maybe when the new systems come out, but not now. That would hurt EA and there not gonna take any hits right now thats for sure. All these are right now are RUMORS.

I don't think it would hurt EA. i'd imagine maybe only 1 out 5 people would decide not to pay to play Madden online. People complained about having to pay to download golf courses in Links but after the initial shock wore off, more people paid the $5 to download a great course.

I for one hope they do make it a pay to play. This will cut down on the 12 and 13 year olds who cheese cuz they don't know what real football is or do but still just play to win using whatever cheesy tactic necessary,

I can see them doing pay to play and then lowering the price of the game to 39.99.

if online play was around 30 to 40 bucks for ALL EA GAMES it wouldn't be so bad. Or just for ea sports games. Otherwise 20 bucks a year doesn't sound too unreasonable.
