This is undoubtly the biggest sports liscencing deal in the last 10 yrs.

Kudos to EA but it's so sad to see the competition get killed like this just when this year ESPN was going to have a breakout year.

If this is true, it's a shame, because I loved the competetion and the fact that both companies were putting out games that improved every year..

Now, what is the motivation for Sega and other NFL game makers? They know the fans will buy the game with the real players.. and that is Madden.

Does this go into effect this year, or will ESPN Football have real player names and likenesses this year?
