same here..

and why are they showing off that Saint's lineman?

*edit*
oh they have an interview with him.

WHy shouldn't they show off lecharles? He's a pro bowl offensive lineman.

Because he's a Saint, and heaven forbid a Saint get any love. Now if he was a defensive lineman with a gaping hole for a mouth that looks for a camera under every rock, like a certain ex-Tampa Bay, new Oakland Raider, then it would be okay.

yeah i think it is remember seeing the different articles being highlighted and being able to select one in a video or screen where one was grayed or somethin.

That will be pretty impressive if the actual articles are read-able. If they can make it so the article actually relates to the game/week that you've played, I would really get into that. Something tells me that's still a generation or two away, but I hope I'm wrong on that.

Psh, who wants to read a newspaper when you could have Chris Berman and Trey Wingo lay down the highlights for you?

Just kidding. I like that they went the NCAA approach with that whole front page thing, if yonly you can actually read the article!

I think you can. If you look at the top screen, there is a select button. I hope that means "select article and read more."

Yeah, that's what I'm guessing.

And speaking of which, one of the newspapers is from the Xbox version, and the other is from the PS2 version. Now I'm not going to say that it looks better, but why does the PS2 version have a much more crisp look to it than the Xbox version? I mean the Xbox version may have better rendering and all, but I think that the PS2 edges, while a little jaggy, are still more crisp. Are they supposed to be like that?

Re: New screen shots

I hear you guys, and I hope you do get the full story. But it sure looks like a lot of text to have for a story about your game. How could they ever have a full story for each game like that? Props to EA if they pulled that off.
