Great find, it's sad to see the long 10 yard or more dropbacks are still very evident. Same goes for the long bombs.

On the positive side the lighting and sky effects are SUWEET!

wow the guy puts his whole d in coverage and there are 4-5 guys around owens and he still gets the pass with ease.

Okay, admittedly, I tend to lean towards ESPN over Madden, and again the difficulty may have been set to Rookie or Pro at E3, but I am really not too impressed with some of the AI in these videos, noting particularly the offensive line and defensive back play in video "Clip10.mpg". And in the video "Clip18.mpg", a safety as good as Brian Dawkins ought to be able to make a play on or even intercept that pass.

I do like the new punt return camera and the many new animations I saw, though. The Eagles' helmets shown before breaking the huddle in "Clip17" look well-done as well. And they added the squib kick!

Also, maybe it's just the E3 build, but the sidelines in some of the clips look strangely empty (see Clip20.mpg for example), moreso than in past Maddens...

Again, maybe some of my negative opinions are just my somewhat ESPN-slanted judgment, but I was a Madden guy this time last year.

Awesome vids, the lighting is the best out any of the previous maddens(shadows on the field and in the stands), the game in motion looks crisp and the player models look much improved imo. I think the overall presentation looks 100x's better than last years version. August cant get here soon enough.

honestly, when madden and presentation are put in the same sentence that gets a

like i keep saying the cutscenes should be separate from the pick your play...that would be much more realistic imo

(even though espn copied it

and it will be the greatest add-on for some)

i dont see anything wrong with that seeing that everyone who played espn loved the new presentation in the game, and Madden owners would love EA to implement the same tpye of ESPN's presentation into Madden. It wont hurt madden one bit if their aspect of presentation has been increased.
