Re: Fan cutscenes (now more reasoning for \"create a fan\"

Tons of games use cut scenes, probably every one on the market. None of them, NONE of them, have scenes that do not repeat at some point. The consoles probably won't be there until PS3 and Xbox 2.

As for create-a-fan not being that great, it's not supposed to be that great, it's just a little add-on to enhance the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, when this is added onto IGN's top five list, it shows two things:

1) It's one of the best 5 things about Madden.
2) It's one of the best 5 things about Madden.

I mean that in two different ways, and you guys should realize them. The first one is showing that hey, this feature is pretty good, so good that it makes Madden's Top 5 list. However, the second one is saying hey, this is on Madden's Top 5 list, so while this isn't a grand feature (according to you), it shows just how weak their grandest features are.

I know that in the end that the cut scenes will be repeated but to show the exact same scene with just different teams, doesn't look good for the frequency of each scene repeating.

That's also a list of that guys opinions. I seriously doubt if any of us made a list of any games top 5 features we'd necessarily agree what features make a game good (or bad). It means literally nothing other than that is one of the 5 features that guy thinks that is a best new addition to the game.

EA has access to every scene in the game, they probably just released it to show how it looks comparatively with different teams is all. Unless you are one of the people (and I speak that figuratively as you've already said you aren't).....unless you're one of the people who are shocked that a scene is *gasp* repeating and this ruins the cut scene for you it is really pretty meaningless as to the actual # of times it will repeat in the game.

By this I mean, EA can show any cut scene they want, them displaying a cut scene with 2 different teams in the same pose has nothing to do with the frequency of that cut scene. EA could also show you a cut scene of the Bears winning the Super Bowl 3 years straight but that don't mean our Maddens will have the Bears going back-to-back-to-back in our games frequently. Means nothing.

The game is almost done, so ea should have all of the cut scenes in the game. There's no reason to show the same scene with a different logo on it. I've already said plenty of times that I am aware that the cut scenes will eventually start repeating them selves.

Can't really discuss that either since only a select few have actually played it.
