Does anyone knows when the next Madden Challenge is?

I would love to take part of it. Yesterday afternoon I watched last year event on G4TV and it was cool seeing a whole lot of people compete against one another for 50 thousands smackaroos. I looked on Madden's website on EA but they only talk about last year's event.

I'd love to know this also. I may suck and lose in the first round, but it would be fun.

I thought about it last year, my friends wanted me to, but then I realized I would just be playing against some of the worst cheesers ever and decided that it wouldn't be a fun experiance even if I made it a couple rounds in.

someone actually blocked a Extra Point in that game right up the middle, I've never seen that before.

That guy blocked several during the tourn. I have it saved on my replay TV and I am going to pause it to study what his method was!

I played in the Green Bay leg of the Madden tourny. I beat the first two people I played (all three of us played straight up), but I lost my third game to a Cheeser. He took the Falcons and kept running the same trips pick play over and over. And when i would grab the corner or a LB and cover it, he'd just take Vick and run around for 20 seconds until he found someone open.

Needless to say I didn't shake his hand afterward. It was a great experience up until then, though.

I might think about it this year, but that new NCAA Challenge has caught my eye too.

I was in a local ESPN FB tourney last year (wrong game, but a tourney so I thought I'd mention it)...I got to the semi-finals, losing to the eventual winner. I lost in the game for 3rd place, but it was still fun. Kinda sucks that the eventual winner took Miami, switched out all TE's and FB's with WR's on the lineup, and ran that offense. Not total cheese, but didn't sit well with me.
