Madden 25 building a Run n Shoot team (connected franchise)

Hey guys I use to be a big madden player, but switched for awhile in favor of NCAA. My friends and I decided we are going to start a connected franchise together on 25 and I want to do one with the Run n Shoot playbook. I'm pretty familiar with the playbook/style, but wanted to know if anyone had tips. Like drafting/signing players. I've used it a lil bit so far and found I have been getting sacked a lot. Anyways any help would be great.
