MADDEN 25 WAY TO EASY

Madden 25 is to easy to run on for me and my 2 boys 14 and 12. We all rush for over 250 plus yards every game. We are on all madden with player run blockong at 0....cpu tackling at 100. Tackling is the only slider I see to adjust agaist the run. The game is still way to easy. We also play 7 minute quarters with accelerated ock on. Can only imagine the numbers if we played longer quarters. Any suggrstions are appreciated. Trying to get more realistic numbers.

A few things:

  1. RBK at 0 is actually easier than a much higher setting would be. Try setting run block to 2 or 3.
  2. The TAK slider that high will skew the tackle angles to the point where the LBs get caught up on the o-line and won't make plays. This effectively makes the run game easier than it should be. I'd recommend keeping the TAK slider no higher than 40-50.
  3. Lower the Roughing the Kicker slider to around 30, this will improve defensive pursuit across the board. I would then keep the Kick/Punt Catch Interference slider in the 45-55 range (higher means faster defensive reactions).

The tackle slider was at 50 at first amd it was way to easy still. And to make sure I ubderstand you, you are saying set player run blocking to 2 or 3 not 0?

That is correct on the run blocking. The question I have for you is why is it too easy? Are defenders not in position, are you just steam-rolling them, or what? TAK at 50 can honestly be too low....I have seen some very tough sets where the CPU TAK is as low as 20. Football is about positioning and angles as much as anything.

Maybe I'm missing something. ..the higher the number makes it harder or easier.....for example if player run blocking is at 0 is that the does that make my guys block better or worse. When i say its to easy its becasue me and my 2 sons who are 14 and 12 rush fro carzy numbers in 7 minute games. We all get over 250 yards with 1 guy every game. My one son rushed for 450 with mcfadden in a 7 minute game.

Higher is supposed to be better, but extreme values like 0 and 100 tend to glitch the system. Try a setup like this:

Recommend 1 Threshold and Normal (or higher) speed

HUM / CPU

QBA 5 / 10
PBK 30 / 50
CTH 40 / 40
RBK 2 / 40
FUM 40 / 40
PRC 5 / 30
INT 30 / 30
PCV 30 / 30
TAK 15 / 40


Penalties
Offside: 85
False Start:85
Holding: 99
Facemask: 50
DPI: 98
OPI: 99
PCI: 40
Clipping: 50
int grounding: 99
roughing the passer:50
roughing the kicker: 30

Will give it a shot...another question i see you say to do normal or faster speed...we do very slow becasue we like to see more of the animatrics of the game....is this maybe why its so easy becasue we play on very slow....just think the visuals are better on very slow.

Yeah, slower speeds definitely affect the CPU AI - I would at least bump it up a notch to slow - you should still see good animations there (though I think the animations on Normal speed are still quite good)
