Madden's release date?

I cant get to the EAsports website, but I heard that Madden got pushed back to the 12th, man, they got to be scared, ESPN is coming out the 10th isn't it? Hmmm, interesting, I think ESPN is gonna chip a big block off of Madden this year, but I will enjoy both games!

not sure why they would be scared, 4 million or so copies sold last year and the most popular video game franchise of all time.

true, but I think Madden will take a hit this year, by maybe 1 to 1.5 million or so, when ESPN will sell around 1-2 million

The reason why that won't happen is NCAA 2004 is the only college footbal game and that will most likely sell 1- 2 million, and just about everyone who buys that will buy Madden for the purpose of importing rookies. This is where ESPN is missing a beat, the co-op that Madden and NCAA have. ESPN better get on the ball.

First off its NCAA 2005 bro, and second off, um, not everyone gets those updates of real rookies, so why import numbers, when in espn, you have around 5 years how players with faces, names, stats, I mean the whole nine yards, I mean, even "Mean" Mel Kiper brining analysis weekly after week 8, wow! Sorry bro, Madden is going to lose fans, not even NCAA can save them, and I would like to see what VC has up their sleeve for College Football next year?
