In ESPN runners interacting with blockers how "bouncing off other players" should look. However Pin Ball running in Madden in years past is the lack of holes opening and not having clean realistic interaction with Ball carriers and blockers/tacklers.

actualy pinball running is the defenders forgetting they have arms and trying to tackle you with their hips.

Its actualy very amusing if u look at the replays, however its terrible distrubring most of the time...

why cant madden a pocket for the qb, it would make it alot more fun and realistic. i like it in espn how i get to take a couple steps forward when a DE bursts around the Offensive Tackle. Well, maybe next year, this game is still gonna be awesome.

Not even close. THe pinball running in Madden does not equate to bouncing off your blocking and keeping your legs moving. It's bad collision detection and has been in every version of Madden. Even the hardcore Madden players are aware of the pinball/mario running evident in Madden.

That being said, I hear it's still existent in this year's version but it's not nearly as bad as it has been in previous versions. Let's face it oline/dline interaction in Madden has always been hit or miss. Hopefully this year it's a little better.

I never ha da problem with running in 04, and if you know your playbook and understand offense you can easily have 3, 5, and 7 step pass plays.

I'm glad it takes time to pick it up, otherwise it would get boring quickly.
