I'm not surprised actually.

Gamespot tends to rate games based more on an overall basis. That means that graphics and sound scores factor higher into the final grade. IGN on the other hand doesn't use the average of each scored category.

I wouldn't worry about minor differences in grades- each site will have it's own tastes. What matters is that there are two AAA games to choose from.
