Re: Madden 2005 Sliders

Thanks man, you have great impressions on maddenwishlist. I heard someone say that the gap between All-Madden and All-Pro wasn't that great, at least in his eyes. That he always played on All-Pro, and he found that he could actually win some on All-Madden this year after awhile. Do you agree with this? Also, is there a Legend difficulty? And one last thing while I'm bothering you, have you seen any CPU teams match offers for their RFAs? I'm thinking when I get a chance, I will just go into an offseason and offer to as many RFAs as I can and see if anyone matches.

Hey this is great! Thanks for the post! Time to create a slider spreadsheet for Madden 2005!

Re: Madden 2005 Sliders

I haven't played at all on All-Pro, so I can't really comment.

ESPN's Legend is the analog of Madden's All-Madden.

I have not ever seen a CPU team match an RFA offer. I seriously doubt that it happens. The RFA logic is pretty screwy this year, actually. Teams don't really seem to consider how high of a pick that they're giving up -- they value all first round picks equally when it comes to RFA decisions.

All-Madden is definitely the level of choice this year.

Hm. If computers don't match human offers for RFAs, do they match other computers?

They don't match any offers, from anyone, ever.

Re: Madden 2005 Sliders

This is for All-Pro 8 min
HUM/CPU
QB Acc: 12/12
Pass Blk: 9/13
WR Cat: 14/10
Run Ab: 10/13
Run Blk: 13/15

I haven't changed anything for defense and don't think I will
Special teams:
FG is default
Punt Length: 7/12
Punt Acc: 10/12
Kick Length: 8/10

The default sliders are great this year and as you can see, not many changes I had to make. This year the sliders are actually to adjust the game to the way YOU play and you don't have to "FIX" the game.

Re: Madden 2005 Sliders

Yeah, I'd tend to agree with the previous poster, by and large. I think there are a few things that need fixing, but it's more like "tweaking" rather than whole-scale repairs.

Last year it took me about 6 weeks to sliders that were even playable, and in the end they were nowhere near as good as this year's defaults. So I certainly don't imagine spending that much time this year.
