i feel the reason they took this out is so that you will only get used to one controller configuration and therefore play only one football game and obviously since it is madden that did this they want you to be playing madden.

Its not that hard once you play both alot. But I find it weird why you need to switch the speed burst button on def. It just makes it tough on people

I am sorry, I am trying, but this default configuration is absolutely unacceptable. I cannot play this game, I am too used to the ESPN configuration. Maddedn has always given us an option, ESPN has the option to change it to the Madden way, why can't madded make it easier for us. I just can't get it, speed burst is one button when you are a running back, another button when you are a defender, errrrrr...

nope, it's not you... glad it wasn't me either... i was literally going nuts... and still am.

funny thing is, i got madden just cuz the simulated stats are always good and i want them accurate.

sure enough, i sim a franchise and they're hosed, just like ESPN.. they're close, but not like real life...

back to ESPN... well... .maybe

This is very minor, from my vantage point. Who really cares. If you play both games enough, you'll internalize each games' configurations and you'll wonder why it even bothered you in the first place.

So what do you want. Excellent gameplay and no alternative controller configuration or abysmal gameplay and an alternative controller configuration?
