Help requested: hot route block?

I may just be overlooking it in this years version, but is there anyway to hot route a RB or FB to stay in and block when the original play calls for them to run a pass route?

I remember being able to pull it off in 2003. Whenever I spotted an extra blitzer I was able to keep my RB in for extra protection through the hot route. Am I just missing it this year or did EA take that option out?

You should just push the hot route button, then the button assigned to the player you want to block and the press L2 or R2 depending on if you want them to block either left or right respectively.
