does anyone know how to switch the setting to 16 : 9?

What version? my ps2 auto set it on my 57'' widescreen.

it only has the 4:3 setting

well what version of the game do you have? If you have an xbox go into the dashboard and change the setting to widescreen. To get to the dashboard you have to turn on your xbox without a game inside.

is this confirmed for xbox? I know you can set the camera to widescreen, but to me it's just a different camera angle, it's not true 16:9

camera angle is different. If you have your xbox set to widescreen in the dashboard the game will be in true widescreen.

i have a ps2, and it does not give me the option in the game system settings screen. Only 4 :3!
