4min ranked games

When playing online last night I noticed the ranked games are only 4 min. I find this to be to short. Anyone else feel this way? A few people I played last night thought the same thing.

i can't say i agree. while in certain cases i would love a longer game, the majority of the time i don't want my games to go much longer than 30-40 minutes. if the 4 minute games were pumped up to a higher time they would approach 40+ minutes which is too long in my opinion. many dropped games occur because someone starts a game and doesn't have time to finish it, 40 minutes is pretty long compared to the time frames of other online game events such as races, a team based frag fest etc.

I think that 4 minutes is perfect..it puts the pressure on each player to perform well....but whats the difference between the ranked and highly ranked games?

Yeah. They even say theirselves in the online FAQ that games were taking way too long to finish. I think 4 minutes is perfect.

I would like 5 mins myself because it's all too possible to kill the 4th quarter with the lead and possession. That extra minute can make a big difference late in the game.

the demographic thats worried about an online ranking probably has an attention span that maxes out at 4 minutes per quarter, good choice ea
