So Im getting whacked by the Steelers 31-10. There is 1:45 left in the game and the Steelers have the ball. They run the ball on 1st and ten and get a couple yards. They then hike the ball again with 20 seconds left on the 40 second clock. Again this keeps happening. Finally with only 15 seconds left in the game and over 25 on the play clock there is no need to hike the ball right? The computer hikes the ball and throws a TD Pass!!

Now some of you may be thinking no big deal however now you dont need to save your timeouts towards the end of the game now. Even with one minute left and no timeouts the computer will hike the ball quickly giving you plenty of time to get the ball back.

Do the test yourself in "situation mode". Set it up and see.

I am sorry but this is a real nasty flaw in this game.

if the score was closer they would of run the clock out....i know because it happenend to me....

Are you sure? I am going to test that on situation mode right now. I will make the score 3-7.

I've had the CPU run the clock down on me several times. It always forces me to call timeouts when the game is close.

Well I just did my test.

Situation:

Atlanta 10, Saints 6
Atlanta with the ball, 1st and 10 at the Saints 30. 1:30 on the clock. They run the ball. After the play, they hike it again leaving 20 seconds on the play clock! Repeat, repeat again. Finally they let the clock go down close to 2 seconds on the play clock when they hit a field goal.

So your right however this only happens inside one minute left in the game.

Okay guys, I understand the MVP Baseball lefty home run glich not being noticed but please, you guys are telling me that you aren't noticing this at ALL?

LIGHT BULB! Ding! I use accelerated clock! Inside 2 minutes the clock slows down. Perhaps the AI still thinks it is winding down fast?
