I am playing as the Vikings on the All Pro level and I cannot run to save my life. I use Michael Bennett, who is fast but he can't get anything. He was even pulled down from behind by Urlacher, who is fast, but isn't has fast as Bennett. Sweeps are useless as I cannot break past the DEs because they are in there so fast, or the LBs catch me. Running inside is better, but I usually can only get a couple of yards.

What is the key to running? I feel like that it is impossible to run outside. Should I be using stiff arms, jukes, or what? Any suggestions are welcome because it seems like I get hit really quick. I upped the sliders, but I hear about peopel getting 200 yards a game on All-Madden I am curious how it is done.

I found using the speed burst makes the defence chase you faster, only use the speed burst to break away, dont also hold it down

I will have to try that more. I really suck. I am getting less than a yard a carry.

Dont outrun your blockers.
Stay behind your blockers and once you see an opening, power through it.
If you outrun your blockers especially on sweeps, you wont get far.

Half my problem is the LB and DTs are in the backfield when running up the guy or off tackle. I seldomly even have a chance to do anything except fall down and call the next play. My OL does suck as I am playing with the Falcons.

Yup, as soon as you hit speed burst, the cpu AI turns on its jets...the same as in ESPN. Mix it up w/ your FB, 'cause they WILL key on your HB..I found 'at out!
Send players in motion,etc...the key is, you gotta run to set up the pass

Biggest tip I can provide is to follow your FB. Your FB will block "key" guys for you so you can bust open. I've noticed that I will gain more yards following my FB then just running a sweep.

Follow your FB and other blockers. Follow them according to how the play is drawn up, don't just wander aimlessly. And the comment about the speed burst is right, don't use it!!
