I'm watching my Giants play right now and Im looking at the players and the feild size and I thiink Madden does the better job on how the players look on the feild, meaning people say the players look to small and the feild is too big, i don't agree with that at all, Madden looks like it does match the players size on the feild. ESPN players look two big and the feild looks to small, but i noticed ESPN colors look a litttle better then Madden colors. Anyway the more I watch the Giants game the more I think madden players size is pretty well done. I know some will dissagree, its only my opinion.

it's not at the level of espn's,obviously,but it's not as bad as people made it out to be.the lighting is better.on sunny days you can see the reflection of the helmets.or after head to head collision,you can see the scratches on them...

There's also dirty uni's and it doesn't have to be raining.They also did a great job in the offense line player models.I find that in ESPn some lineman just look like slightly bigger Linebackers....

Stadiums,IMO are clearly better in Madden as well.

the thing about the lineman is that, imo, espn does a better job of representing "height" so alot of people are thrown off b/c they dont feel that the characters have enough "depth" in the stomach...myself, i think both models are ok...would like more done for 2k6 and 2006, respectively

I completely agree. This year's madden has some of the best animations i've seen. While the actual graphics aren't as well done as espn's...i think the little animations more than make up for it. The one thing i've always liked about madden is how the quarterback moves. Always seemed a bit more realistic than how espn depicts it.
