Are DB's all pro high jumpers?

I'm getting very frustrated with the way the CPU DB's respond to balls in the air. If I see one more DB leap 10 ft in the air and bat down a ball that he clearly had no chance of getting, I'm gonna scream. When DB's are running full stride with a receiver, or trying to catch up, they simply can't do the things I'm seeing here. Nevermind the fact that most of them have eyes in the back of their heads, so when you put the ball in the air you have 4-5 defensive players right around the ball. I've seen LB's come 10 yards out of the play to help break up the pass, LOL.

I've been a Madden fan, but seriously, there's got to be a better way to do defensive pass AI other than to have them jump as if they were 7' tall.
