This year i heard that D ruled...and that u could finally play Dback and stop passes if u chose to. Well they were right and they were wrong. Unlike last year..this year you can certainly play dback and move your player easily/smoothly (last year was hard to control dback for some reason while qb had ball). the only problem i discoverd (many of u guys prob knew this already)....the CPU controlled players run MODERATELY faster than the human controlled players EVEN with turbo pressed down.

I play w/ 2 other guys...they keep beating me w/ bombs...i discoverd its b/c i was using x button (switching player) to get 'involved' in each play. BIG mistake. once i was hitting x...those flys which always get broken up...were easy tds. They claim they 'take control' at last minute and block pass....well i guess 'takiign control" of your db is really pressing x and then triangle (int) as fast as u can as ball is there "taking control"...basically long passes MUST be cpu controlled to be the most efficient.

funny thing is i discovered this as my friend was chasing a. green rb Green bay...w/ a linebacker. he was closing in on me FAST ...he took control of his linebacker...and instanly i pulled away. i heard him on his headset yell DAMN i took control of him too early.

madden is stilt he king...gREAT game...but this stuff PISSES me off...(it as also related to the bs where a man is open..u throw ball ..and defenders close in unnatually fast!

No. It doesn't bother me and it doesn't hinder the experience.

Every game has flaws. If you like the game, you work around it. You won't hear anyone complain about the speed disparity on this forum until Madden 06 drops. It'll only be a big deal if it gets fixed. Nature of the beast...
