EA's Premium Pass Charged Me A $1.00

Ya, it's only a $1.00, but I thought this Premium Pass thing was supposed to be free!?!

I even went back and read the fine print where I signed up on EA's website. Nothing about taking any money out of the account number you provide.

Last time I checked free was free.

Like I said, it's only a $1.00. But my dollar, and your dollar, and his dollar will all add up!

Looks like EA made a nice deal on this one!

what is the Premium Pass, and what does it do.

Check back in a day or so, usually, when sites offer free things but need credit card verification, they will charge a dollar of under when they make the transaction just to verify it is a working credit (or debit) card, and then deposit the money back the next day. They need to verify it is a working card, and this is the easiest way to do this.

Yeah, they'll likey refund the dollar. Usually they do it immediately, but sometimes credit card companies like to take awhile before processing refunds.
