Does the CPU run against you on All-Pro?

Just curious because I'm playing on All-Madden right now but its driving me completely insane! I'm unbelievably pissed because all this hype about how big the "D" is in 2005 is a load of SH!T I swear this game pisses me off more and more every year, and yet I keep playing it...I'm sick of All-Madden because the CPU's ratings are just boosted up! The main thing about All-Madden that I like is that the CPU runs on me, I don't want to sacrifice that on All-Pro.

Depends on the sliders. With Headrulez sliders they woudln't run on me until they atleast had a slight lead.

I just played All-Pro with running ability and run blocking all the way up for the CPU. Marshall Faulk ran all over me.

You dont even need to set the cpu run and run block sliders all the way up. I have it at default and the cpu still ran a ton against me with McCalister and some other scrub.

Think his name was Greg Siedermone.

Re: Does the CPU run against you on All-Pro?

Well let me start by saying that with adjusted sliders they will definatley run on you on all-pro. One thing that's different that I'm learning about this game is playcalling. Seem like you can't call the same defensive plays over and over again if you have a marginal defense.

I'm playing a franchise with the Bears and guys who normally run 100 yards will run for them if you don't try and stop them. BUT you can't be over agressive. For example, against the Redskins Clinton Portis had 30 yards against me. You might say, "how did you do that with the Bears defense"? Well, I gave up over 300 yards in the air. Playing a 46 without the personel that's what happens. In another game I'm playing against the Giants and Kurt Warner is hurt and Eli Manning is starting. So I'm like GREAT, I get to kill the rookie QB. I started to blitz him and it worked for the first part of the game. Sacked him twice and forced 2 INT in the first half. Then the adjustments happened. They started to figure out what side of the line I was blitzing from and they threw TE flats to Shockey and HB flats to Barber. So I made my adjustments and started to zone and guess what happen: Barber started to eat me alive and rushed for over 160 yards!

So to answer your question: YES! They will run on you.

Yes, but I have the CPU sliders for run block and ability at 20. I've had the CPU run sliders at 20 for the past two years on NCAA and Madden.
