Clearing Cap Penalties

When I click to do this it says it will decrease players morale, why would clearing my cap penalties hurt the morale? Also, is there anything besides morale that this will affect? (roster, coach, etc)

I believe using the clear cap penalties option will also hammer your team's prestige.

Why do you want to clear it?

I think it was under Team Info. I don't want to, I was going to until i saw that it would hurt my teams morale, and the prestige, that could potentially hurt my chances of pulling a key free agent or bringing one of my own back.

Yeah, it's under team info. I'm guessing they put it in there to make up for not being able to turn the salary cap off (at least I don't think you can, never looked).

I use it during the RFA signing period otherwise, I wouldnt be able to sign my own RFAs...

It doesnt do much especially if you got a lot of team prestige.

i've done it before..and it aint do nuffin to my teams morale or prestige..it's about risk..if your teams morale/prestige is high than it won't do nothin
