Johnson is my starting LOLB since i traded Carlos Emmons for the rights to draft him. He hasn't played very well. Doesn't make many tackles and looks lost in pass coverage. He often rushes the QB when he should be covering a RB out of the backfield. I'm pretty disappointed so far but hopefully his awareness will go up and he'll improve.

I also managed to get Cedric Houston from Tennessee in the 4th round who after training camp and a few early season TD's is up to an 82. He's poised to take over the starting spot from Tiki in a few years.

How did you get Bullocks in at WR?? i have him too but i can't figure out how to get him as a WR just wanna see if he is any good, i need all the help i can get at wr because after Andre Johnson i really have nothing!

If you want him as a permanent WR then just go and make sure you ahve 3 FS and change Bullocks position to WR in the Manage Player screen. If you just want him to play a couple of key formations, go to substitutions under Coaching Gameplan.

Some other teams' 05 draft selections that I liked (or thought were interesting) in my current franchise:

Titans - QB Kyle Orton Purdue

Cardinals - QB Matt Leinhart USC

Seahawks - RB Kay Jay Harris W. Virginia

Jets - RB Cadillac Williams Auburn

Bears - WR Craphonso Thorpe FSU

Raiders - WR BrayLon Edwards Michigan

Fins - WR Fred Gibson Georgia

Bengals - DE Marcus Spears LSU

Ravens - DE/DT Shaun Cody USC

Falcons - OLB Derrick Johnson Texas

Nice Picks. Those are just a few...also, I mentioned earlier the Panthers drafted Antrel Rolle but they also took FS Josh Bullocks. Scary stuff.

I would have to say that I hated almost every choice from that list. But it would be just like some of those teams to reach for draft picks. If the Cards are gonna draft any QB its gonna be Andrew Walters of Arizona State, It is to early to draft for a future qb in Tennessee, the Jets won't be shopping for a Cadillac this off season with Lamont Jordan waiting in the wings and and Curtis Martin ain't slowin' down none, Seahawks does not need more runners with Alexander and M.Morris there, the Falcons need more secondary help to draft Derrick, who by the way will probably would be gone their chance to pick barring a trade. Those are just some unlikely picks, but thanks for posting!

Thats what I liked about the picks...valid arguements can be made FOR and AGAINST those selections similar to a real life draft or mock draft. Your post only proves that point further.

Best player I've ever drafted was Reggie Bush. I use the St. Louis playbook and he is AWESOME.

David Pollack (sp?) from Georgia always turns out a beast for me, also Craphonso Thorpe (WR FSU), Justin Miller (CB CLEM), Mike Williams (WR USC), and Charlie Whitehurst (QB Clem) all turned out to be good starters on other teams.
