Why would you want to start CCM wt only 53

I like the 75 man roster for my CCM,.cause you can cut player n keep the ones you want to build up,..saves a lot in the draft,..you also get to put some up for trade,..I did this n got 2 first round picks n 2nd round for next year,..help my team out a lot,..just not sure why we would want to start out wt 53 men,.n cant trade or anything,..I'm I missing something by using the 53 man over the 75??????

53 man roster is for people who want to keep the game as close to the real thing as possible. Meaning no outside trades (at least in the first year).

The 53 roster included a bunch of people who weren't included in the original 75 man roster. Also gives accurate rosters across the board. I used the 53-man and then signed a bunch of FAs so I still had to make cuts. Best of both worlds that way

I am in preseason with the new rosters but I cant find a way to edit the players with correct jersey numbers. Is that possible at some point in the CCM?

Nope, maybe if EA creates a patch.
