Hoping someone can help me. I exported a franchise roster from Madden 2012 that is all generic players and no real life one. I then exported and imported it to Madden 25 so I could play a CCM with all random players. The issue I'm having is that all the real players that were removed in the import are now in Free Agency. Anyone know why or what, if anything, I can do to fix it? It seems to put them in over some of the other random players that are already in Free Agency.

I have no idea, except that when the roster file is damaged it's usually because the step of copying and pasting the numbers using HxD was not done correctly. I tried it again following the instructions, and it works for me.

The only thing I can think of is that you might be doing something wrong in Excel, but can't figure out what. I just spent over an hour messing with it and it always works for me. I even imported 39 legends from the hidden M25 roster into the newest official roster and no problems at all.


If anyone wants that roster, I uploaded it to community files as LEGENDSWITHPORTRAITS, gamertag The Zig. I might edit them to all be rookies and upload that as well.


Be warned, though, that I only imported the ones that had portraits. There were quite a few (including some of my favorite players) for whom the portraits did not show up. They either cleaned out some of the portraits or somehow the IDs don't match up anymore.
