Now open Bruteforce and drag and drop the roster file onto the middle of the Bruteforce screen. Now click Decrypt PFD, choose all files. Now exit Bruteforce. There will be a pop up asking if you are sure you want to leave the file decrypted, select yes. Now open this editor and select the roster file on your desktop and it will open. After you have finished your edits, save the roster (I press the save button twice just in case) and close the editor. Go back to Bruteforce and select Encrypt PFD. Then press Verify PFD. Now press Rebuild and then put the file back on your flashdrive. You don't need to change anything to .mc02 anymore as far as I'm aware.

I don't have a PS3 so I'm not sure if those are the exact steps to putting the roster back onto the flashdrive since I only open a PS3 roster to convert it to 360 and use Horizon to put the file back onto a 360 flashdrive.
I keep getting an error message when I try to open it in the editor

I get the same error I think. Does it say that it isn’t an mc02 file even after you decrypt in bruteforve and rename with mc02 at the end?

This happened to me too. Make sure you don’t decrypt twice on accident.

I am still having the same problem. I only decrypted it once too.

Is this for PS3? Using Xans config file in DB Editor? I’ve only modified NCAA files but they should act the same.

Decrypt files in Brute force
Add .mc02 extension
Open DB Editor
Import config file
Open .mc02 file

What files are you decrypting and making .mc02?

I’m actually doing it for NFL HC09. I was finally able to get it to work. I just redownloaded the editor and then it worked. Thanks for the help!

Cool. I know for some reason you can’t move the editor or config files into a different folder or it won’t work.

Good to know! I think that was my problem. I had moved it to my flash drive! Thanks!
