I don't understand, this roster won't open for me in the editor. I get an error message saying that says "error, this is not a MC02 or DB file".

did you change it to .MC02 on the end?

Do you mean literally just typing that at the end of the file?

Edit: Just tried that. The file extension .MC02 took but when I tried to open it with the editor it said that I must first extract the MC02/DB file from the roster.

You have to open the file in horizon, extract the file and save it with the MC02 extension on it. Use that file with the editor. When you finish making any edits, save it. Then use horizon to replace the MC02 file, resign and rehash. Boom, you have changed the original file. Save to you flashdrive and your set.

Total noob question here: I keep getting an "invalid package file" error from Modio when I try to open the downloaded roster. The saved roster from the Xbox opens just fine. I have tried opening with Modio 3 Modio 4 beta and Modio 2.0. Since I don't see any other complaints, I know I'm doing something wrong. I have transferred plenty of files around for NFL 2K5 using these programs and haven't run into this.

Please help?
