How to use rosters on PS3?

Okay, how exactly do I get it to my PS3 from my USB? Sorry for sounding like an idiot but I'm used to NBA 2K rosters, on there they have a thing called 2K share. Also, sorry, I am on my mobile device, don't know how to use the search function on this bad boy! I heard something about naming folders? Help, please?

This is a process that once you do once or twice you'll remember. Even if you don't you will have your folder that you made previously to refresh yourself. Here are the easy steps.

    1) Put your flash drive in the computer.
    2) Depending how you downloaded the roster file off the net they will be in a .zip or .rar. After you have downloaded the file right click on it and hit "Extract Here."
    3) Now this should provide you with a folder that is named something similar to BLUS30700 with letters and numbers. Inside of that folder are the inner guts and some hexadecimal data. Don't worry about that stuff.
    4) Now on your flash drive make a new folder called PS3.
    5) Inside of the PS3 folder make another folder called SAVEDATA
    6) Inside of SAVEDATA paste the BLUS30700 folder.
    7) So now the file structure should be this on your flash drive:
    PS3/SAVEDATA/BLUS30700
    8) No eject your flash drive and insert it into your playstation three, and turn it on.
    9) Navigate to the Saved Data Utility (PS3) icon and hit X. There you should see your USB device. Hit x to go into it and then it triangle which brings up a list of options. Here of course you want to hit copy. Hit yes and proceed to copy it.
    10) Yay You did it! Fire up your game and enjoy your new roster, franchise, or whatever!

Thank you so much, what would I do without OS?

I did all of this and the roster file is on my PS3 but: 1) separate from the rest of my madden save files and 2) doesn't show up when I go into the game to load the roster.

I am having the same problem as posted. I can save the roster and it shows up in my files but it doesn't sync with my other Madden files that are saved. It is in its own folder. When I go to manage files and save it only allows me to save the files that I have in the one folder and not the new recently downloaded Madden Roster. Please Advise.

Okay I got it to work last night, but I don't really have a clue on what I did right. Just re-format your USB and redownload the roster you want (I like the madden25 rosters from this forum best). After I reformatted my USB every file I downloaded sync'd up with the rest of my madden saves, so...
Hope this helps, just keep trying.

ALSO MAKE SURE THAT YOU'RE COPYING AND PASTING TO MOVE FILES AND THE FILE STRUCTURE ON YOUR USB IS (PS3>SAVEDATA>BLUSxxx[whatever that folder is named]
