Sim Stats for QBs AWFUL, Gameplay Good? Anyone else notice?

I have been editing Roster(4 Teams so far) and Noticed during SIM Stats that INT and Completion % are BAD for QBs. This is for the 4 teams I Edited PLUS the out of Box EA guys. Big Ben had 17TD and 23INT and I havent Edited the Steelers. When Playing the Game QBs play well, I am thinking may have to Bump up Accuracy and Awareness Higher for QBs and use Sliders to Offset it. Anyone else have any ideas or suggestions?

No VT you are absolutely not the only one. There have been a few more topics about this as well. Personally, the QB sim stats make me so damn mad that every time I look at them it makes my blood boil and I want to just stop playing. It ruins the immersion and realism when I see Tom Brady with a 71.5 QB rating. When Peyton is the only one with over 100 QB rating and the next one is Bob Griffin at a 93.

Completion %'s are off, too many interceptions, this is a PASSING league EA. QB's that are good DOMINATE the sport of football and stats are the MOST IMPORTANT part of the off-the field experience. THEY SHOULD BE CORRECT.

It's like, what's the point? Every time I play and I look at the stats. Pisses me off so much.

I am going to keep tinkering with things to see IF i can get things at a happy Medium. I may have an Idea. I will keep you updated on what I find.

In NCAA 14, a simple adjustment that brought QB AWR into the 85-90 range did the trick...

M25 seems to require an AWR bump AND an accuracy bump as well...

Unless of course, you come up with something better!

I tried the same method I used in Ncaa sort of. I had all QB's awr range from 85-99 but dropped all the Accuracy ratings down by 25. Needless to say it was god awful. I think I had one guy over 50% and Int's galore.

Not sure how to fix this. Especially trying to get an Ncaa draft class to work. We will see I guess.

I don't think you are going to find a fix. I'm in week 10 right now, and Philip Rivers has 1 TD and 19 interceptions.

                  No that's pretty accurate lol.

This game. You'd think they'd maybe sim one season to see what they get before releasing this game.

it comes down to the 4 different accuracies.

                    Short,
                    Medium,
                    Deep

                    for gameplay.

                    and Throwing Accuracy for Simming.

I haven't tested but tend to agree. In Ncaa it's all about Awr. ThAc doesn't matter. But it looks like in Madden Awr doesn't matter much and ThAc is where it's at.

Well, tdawg, you had great success figuring out "what affects what", so I'm hoping your motivated to take a look at this glaring sim engine problemo!

I was reading a test done by a poster in another thread that was trying both AWR in consort with ACC, which got "some" positive trending result...

If it was ACC alone, I doubt Rivers would have the 19 picks described...game isn't in front of me, but he's usually a highly rated QB with regard to accuracy...

                        "Spitball" thought of the day:

I'm guessing the "Force Passes" (or whatever that trait is called) may be a culprit...

Between "run free" and "ballhawk" this game's been a tough one to get to play well because the run blocking and picks are so "over implemented"...in game and in the sim engine...

The ONLY QB that had Decent season fro me was Peyton. He had 30 TD and 16 INT with 58%. So i am going to tinker more tomorrow with it. I think SLIDERS are going to be the ONLY way to control the In-Game QB performance IF we have to elevate all of QB ratings to get realistic Sim Stats. I will be around for another few hours, then home again late tonight, so I look forward to hearing anymore Suggestions/Solutions.

Looking at traits Manning, Brees and Brady are identical. They are all pretty close in ratings as well. Good luck with this. I just don't really know where to go since the traits and ratings are so close and the results are crazy different.
